As part of its ongoing commitment to encourage women to excel in this field, we are pleased to announce the FCW '14 Grants for Women, sponsored by Google and VMware, to support female computer scientists interested in attending FCW '14. All female computer scientists from academia or industry are encouraged to apply.
Grant recipients will receive $700 US to apply toward travel/accommodation costs.
Instructions for Applicants: Complete the FCW '14 Grants for Women Application. Your Supporting Statement is the most important part of your application; it should outline your current research, studies, or employment related to the conference topics, tell us why attending the event will be beneficial to you, and any other relevant information such as whether you are presenting at the conference, or financial need. Applications are due by Monday, May 5, 2014. Sorry, faxes will not be accepted.
Eligibility:
- Be a female working in or studying Computer Science or a related field
- Agree to being contacted by the sponsors about future events and opportunities
